Head sommelier at Bobby Flay Steak at the Borgata Hotel, Casino and Spa in Atlantic City, NJ, Sabrina has overseen the wine, beer and cocktail program for the steakhouse since 2012. Additionally, she selects wines, maintains the wine list, provides floor service and staff education, and helps with food and wine events throughout the casino.
Originally from Bulgaria, Sabrina moved to the USA to study Hospitality Management in 1999 and worked in fine dining restaurants in the resort town of Cape May, NJ. Sabrina discovered her passion for wine while a server at Michael Mina’s ‘Seablue’. She passed The Court Of Master Sommeliers Certified Sommelier Exam in 2011 and completed Level 2 of the WSET program in 2007 as well as the Advanced Course from the Court of MS.
In addition to her job at Bobby Flay Steak, Sabrina has been a part of the sommelier teams at various F&B events such as Wine Spectator Wine Experience, Pebble Beach F&W, La Paulée, Big Sur F&W, Star Chef Somm Slam, and Hospice du Rhône.
Sabrina has been featured in Wine Spectator magazine and NJ Monthly.
