Meet world renowned photographer Andy Katz and his son, Aperture winemaker Jesse Katz, at the Gallery on Four India Thursday before the Harbor Gala. Jesse Katz is making world class wines in Sonoma – winning awards and harnessing his love of the vineyards that began when his father brought him around the world on photo shoots from a young age. Taste Aperture and enjoy the exhibition of some of the most stunning vineyard images from wine regions around the globe.
Andy Katz’s love of the world takes him from the deserts of Namibia to the sunlit vineyards of Burgundy to the rolling hills of California wine country. Katz is a Sony Artisan of Imagery, one of the original seven photographers representing Sony’s cameras. Andy’s imagery has been featured on the covers of Doobie Brothers and Dan Fogelberg Albums. Katz’s work is also featured in museums and galleries worldwide including his gallery in Healdsburg, California.
Katz has published 12 beautiful coffee table books, they have been described by vintners, photographers and critics as “breathtaking”.
