Returning luminaries Chef Maria Helm Sinskey and Vintner Rob Sinskey of Robert Sinskey Vineyards have an ongoing love affair with wine & food. They believe that wine is not an athletic event and craft (along with long-time winemaker, Jeff Virnig) luxuriously-elegant, well-balanced and age-worthy wines from their organically farmed Stags Leap District Estate vineyard and their five Carneros vineyards. Rob and Maria also practice what they call “guilt-free hedonism” by employing earth-friendly farming and business practices that include whole-farm, regenerative methods such as the creation of beneficial habitat, the employ of sheep to graze the vineyards, the use of solar energy to power the winery, the construction of engineered wetlands to re-use winery water for the edible landscape and many other techniques that reduce their carbon footprint, conserve water, produce less waste and naturally energize the farm… because fine wine shouldn’t hurt your palate or the planet.
Rob and Maria will be sharing their beautifully crafted wines from their Napa and Sonoma estate vineyards in league with the celebrated cuisine of acclaimed chef Will Gilson of Puritan & Co. in Cambridge. Chef Gilson has been in the kitchen since he was 17, inspired by farm fresh produce and cooking farm to table with truly seasonal ingredients.
