We are excited to welcome the spirited and passionate ‘King of Chablis’ Christian Moreau back to the Nantucket Wine & Food Festival for his 7th year to host a large format Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos Luncheon. This regal luncheon will feature 7 vintages all poured from Jéroboams. The exuberant Christian handed the key to their family Domaine to his talented son, Fabien in 2001. Taking the reins, the sixth-generation winemaker, Fabien, has continued to grow Domaine Christian Moreau Père et Fils, while maintaining the integrity of the wine that the Moreau family began making in Chablis starting in 1814.

Join Christian Moreau for an extraordinary large-format luncheon as he pours his family’s Grand Cru “Les Clos” from seven vintages, 2003 through 2009. Les Clos is one of seven Grand Cru vineyards in Chablis. Chablis is famous for its Kimmeridgian limestone soil that contains tiny fossilized oyster shells from the Jurassic Era 150 million years ago!

Chef/ author Anita Lo and Celebrity Chef Linkie Marais will create a sumptuous 3-course luncheon to pair with these extraordinary wines.

Marika Vida-Arnold of Vida et Fils Consulting will be on hand to add to the lively conversation. This is sure to be a memorable afternoon of big personalities and world-class tastes!
