Great Wines in Grand Houses

Exquisite wines will be tasted with the guidance of experts in rarely-seen surroundings at these special intimate tastings that are limited to 12-20 people. Upon arrival, guests will be served a palate-honing glass of Heidsieck Monopole nonvintage brut Champagne. Tasting will be "sit down" with S. Pellegrino and Acqua Panna water. A tasting listed as a dinner tasting also includes dinner;look for the green type that designates a dinner tasting. Dinners include the artisan rolls of Biga Breads of Boston. A tasting listed as a brunch also includes brunch; look for the blue type that designates a brunch.

  • Tastings (except dinner tastings) require 1.5 to 2 hours
    of time, and punctuality is requested.
  • Locations and directions will be sent with tickets.
  • Transportation arrangements should be made by the ticket holder.

The name of Comte Vogue is at the very top of Burgundy's pinnacle of great wines. These are wines that make collectors swoon. Produced in very small quantities and made under the watchful eye of winemaker Francois Millet, these wines are among the most sought-after in the world. The wines will be presented by Jean-Luc Pepin, Directeur Commercial of Domaine Comte Georges de Vogue. To match these spectacular wines, we have chosen a gastronomic rising star, Corey Heyer of The Bernards Inn. Corey's touch is elegant and precise and his food will provide an ideal foil for the wines of Comte Vogue. This should be an inspired marriage.

For five generations, Maison Louis Latour has been producing great wine from the region of Burgundy. No great wine list is complete without these wines. We are privileged to have their head winemaker, Jean-Charles Thomas, share with us his wines in a magnificent Main Street home. It is especially proper that the cuisine for the evening will be provided by Olivier Muller, of Daniel Boulud's Bistro Moderne in Manhattan. Chef Muller, like Chef Boulud, is a great fan of Burgundy, and this will show in the food pairings. A magical evening on Nantucket.
